Durham, NC -- Ellen Cassilly Architect, Inc is proud to announce the completion of their latest residential project, Cassilhaus, and its feature in the New York Times on Thursday July 9, 2009. We were honored to be profiled in such a prestigious publication. The project, designed by Ellen Cassilly, Frank Konhaus and Anna Wirth, received full page coverage in the print edition with additional photographs in the online version. The house was beautifully crafted by L.E.Meyers Builders, Durham, NC. We are equally proud to announce the ten-year anniversary of the architecture studio, Ellen Cassilly Architect, Inc. (ECA). The office, founded by Ellen Cassilly, AIA, LEED AP in 1999, focuses on both cutting edge modern design as well as historic renovations. Ellen and her team at ECA - Sasha Berghausen, Keith Barnhouse, AIA and Esther Bent have executed many notable projects in Durham, NC including the Pavilion in Durham Central Park (Durham Farmers Market), Rogers Alley, Kress Condominiums, Watts Grocery, and numerous residential projects. They are presently working on the Duke Mill Village Project on Duke University’s Central Campus.
