Hannah Elmore

Architectural Designer

Before becoming an Architectural Designer, Hannah Elmore pursued a range of careers in the humanities, including a brief stint as a writer and more than a decade as a professional photographer. When they discovered NCSU’s Architectural Master’s program for students with unrelated undergraduate degrees, they felt as though they had found a back door into a field they had long loved.

They soon entered the program, bringing with them a particular interest in the connection between psychological well-being and the built environment. While there, they studied urban, biophilic, and architectural design, developing a deep appreciation for how each shapes our experience of place and sense of self.

At ECA, Hannah contributes as an Architectural Designer, bringing an enthusiasm for detail, beauty, and—above all—people.
