Sarah Rogers

Project Architect

It’s no coincidence that Sarah is also a potter—her talent for shaping functional, sustainable, and beautiful objects mirrors her approach to designing architectural spaces. Her deep commitment to enriching lives, particularly for the disabled and disadvantaged, is evident in her impactful work with the American Red Cross and a series of ADUs for organ transplant patients. Sarah’s designs are rooted in community, guided by her ability to listen deeply and translate client needs into thoughtful, functional spaces.

With 15 years of experience, Sarah’s expertise spans project design, marketing, fieldwork, construction documents, facility assessments, and project coordination. Early in her career, she specialized in historic renovations and new construction for residential, hospitality, and educational projects, while also serving as an interior liaison to bridge her passion for architecture and interior design. Over time, her portfolio has expanded to include federal projects, workspace planning, commercial real estate, aviation, tenant improvements, and laboratory modifications.

Sarah holds both a BA and a B.Arch from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is proud to contribute to the transformation of her hometown, Durham, through her work.
