We are delighted to see the set of houses we designed come to life with Harper’s Home—a nonprofit that offers a loving “home away from home” for families with children receiving treatment at Duke Children’s. Led by Sarah Rogers, this Durham project includes an addition to an existing home and a new ADU. Crafted to be light-filled, sustainable, and adaptable, these homes now serve a beautiful purpose: providing refuge, comfort, and moments of normalcy during an incredibly difficult journey. For us at ECA, it’s a joy to see design become a foundation for healing, love, and hope.
